Hello Myanmar Visa,
Thank you for your fast and efficient service.
I'm looking forward to meeting with you at Yangon airport. We will bring the money
you asked.
Am I right to believe there is only 1 "approval letter" for me and
Erik?
Can you send me your telephone number, for the case my flight from
Brussels to Bangkok gets delayed, so I can call you from Bangkok in
case we don't make it on time (just to make sure, you never know).
Thanks again for the service,
Best regards,
Ivan (Belgium) |

Dear Myanmar Visa:
My wife and I are most grateful for your very kind assistance in processing our request for a "VISA On Arrival" letter. We were able to down-load your letter clearly and in an excellent format for printing. As instructed, we will show this letter to the airline (TG) as a pre-condition for obtaining a boarding pass, and we bring with us two passport-sized photos for our VISAs.
We are anxious to meet your representative at the immigration counter at Yangon International Airport upon our arrival and most anxious to see your beautiful country. Warmest regards,
Donald and Reina (USA) |

your message with the file attached with the approval letter of Visa on arrival.
Our hotel in Yagon is PANORAMA HOTEL.
Looking forward to meet you at the Yangon Airport.

Has
anybody any experience of this travel agent in Myanmar.
They seem to offer very competitive prices. They also offer
the option of paying by credit card before arrival in Myanmar
which would mean that I would not have to carry so much US$
cash around. Just wondered if they are reliable/safe.
Thanks
Helen

I used Magado for several hotel bookings last Oct/Nov.
However, at that time they did not offer credit card payment.
After all of our requests had been processed, they sent us an
account with a final balance statement by email. We gave them
the information on our filght to Yangon and when
we arrived, they sent a representative to meet
us at the airport. That is when we paid them and
received vouchers for the hotels. This got us a
free ride form the airport to our hotel in
Yangon. So unfortunately, I cannot comment on
the security of a credit card transaction.
|
|
 |
On
the other hand, Magado was very helpful with our
arrangements and did a superb job of getting us
exactly what we wanted and even located and
booked a specific hotel for us that was not on
their web site, at our request. A man named
William (Ohn Win Tain in Burmese) made all of
our arrangements and met us at the airport in
Yangon. He was very helpful with suggestions on
how to get to a few "out of the way" places we
wanted to visit. He arranged a taxi to get us
out to Air Mandalay's office to finalize our
bookings and accompanied us to make sure all
went well. He also arranged to have 2 women meet
us at our hotel to exchange money at a price
that was very competative with the money
changers at the big market. This allowed us to
change our money in a very secure situation and
they made sure that we re-counted the amount to
confirm it was correct... all in the comfort of
our hotel.
Our experience with Magado was very positive.

Dear
San San,
We can all get visas on arrival in Nepal easily.
It costs $30 per person.
It is always more of a difficulty to get visas
for Myanmar. Last time we use Magado Travel.
They have been very dependable. We must apply in
advance for visa on arrival. We must send them
all of the information listed below with a
digital picture of each person's passport and a
picture of themselves. After we apply they
submit the application to the goverment. When
they receive they send us a letter stating that
we have permission to get a visa on arrival. We
must show this in order to board the flight to
Myanmar.
Mie Mie from Magado Travel usually handles
everything and meets us at the airport. She
process the visa there for us. We have done this
several times with her and everything has gone
very smoothly each time. We must apply as a
group, however. Evidently the visa on arrival
service is not available for individual travel.
I will copy this to Mie Mie. Please let her know
who will be coming and send all of the necessary
information to her as soon as possible.
If you have any more questions about the visa on
arrival for Myanmar you can contact me or write
to Mie Mie directly.
